The Genesis has fixed side tables, so plan for its full width at all times. Before buying for a balcony, check the rules. Fire codes commonly prohibit propane grills larger than a 1 lb cylinder on combustible balconies of apartment and condo buildings, and many associations ban them outright. Ask your building manager or local fire marshal, and never use any grill on an enclosed balcony or porch.
